Shelter from Noise (Reclining with Morse)

Where systems meet. This piece began as a digital test print of generative Morse code on an aluminium panel, a field of structured data. Then, over the course of a day, layers of life drawing were painted on top, pose over pose, with the final one-hour figure remaining the most present. I suppose the result is a negotiation between human and algorithm, body and code, where each haunts and re-contextualises the other, something like that.
