Simplicity

I write more words
hanging around useless,
sore words are simple words

touching pictures
pieces of your past

I light another cigarette
listening to your laughter,
imagining yours’
as pieces of my past

sometimes laughing is like barking
and the night my only friend

I smile,
saying everything’s all-right
and so am i,
sometimes i’m a liar
and sometimes ‘just’ a friend
