Waitress

Lift another glass into the light
in taste and ambience in deed
black, white and burgundy
reflect around the candlelight

A toast, a taste and tease
deliciously ambivalent
curvature and contour,
a detour if you please

Inspector of appearance
wipe away the sorrow
set about tomorrow, and so
indulge me if you please.
